Let's Play follows the story of Sam Young as she tries to navigate through her socially anxious life while still trying to make it as an indie game developer. Unfortunately for Sam, the infamous Viewtuber, Marshall Law, gives her first game a poor review and his fans decide to take matters into their own hands by giving her developer profile on Indigineer poor reviews despite never having played the game themselves. As Sam tries to fight back in professional life, her personal life takes a turn...
Characters[]
- Sam Young - an indie game designer and protagonist of the series. After publishing her first indie game, Ruminate, Sam runs into her unfortunate first big bump in the road: a popular Viewtuber negatively reviewing her game.
- Marshall Law - a popular Viewtuber whose channel is known for it's "let's play" reviews. He not only gives negative reviews to Sam's game despite not playing it correctly, but just so happens to be her new neighbor.
- Link Hudson - a friend of Sam's that she met while hospitalized. He harbors a crush on Sam that she is completely blind to.
- Charles Jones - Sam's manager at work who pushes her to be more confident in herself and encourages her work as a game developer in a round-a-bout way.
